Finding Happy

You know those places on campus that just make you happy?
Art exhibit - main floor of the HFAC: I walked inside today because I was going to see my roommates perform a little play for their El Ed Theater class. I had taken no more than five steps when a picture caught my eye. A little girl and boy were sitting on the ground; the picture was done in charcoal. I immediately felt myself being pulled over to the exhibit by this growing desire to see more. I had initially planned to spend a couple minutes there, but that soon turned to 20 as I just took in the beauty that these people had created. I don't even know who the artists were but I believe they have a God given talent.
I'm going to learn how to paint
Flower bed - Entrance to the HFAC: You know that spring is here when there are yellow daffodils and purple pansies growing outside of the HFAC. My two favorite flowers growing side by side: what could be more perfect than that?
          ...I will tell you
4th floor - JKB: there's a sofa positioned just perfectly in front of a window that looks out over campus. This spot is usually occupied, however today around 6:00pm there was no one there! After we watched our other two roommates perform my roommate Amber and I instantly took advantage of the vacant sofa and stole it before anyone else could. The setting sun cast this really amazing glow over the buildings and we couldn't even tell it had been snowing just a few hours earlier. Amber pointed out the yellow bushes blossoming below as we just took in the time we were NOT spending doing homework.
          I am happy
